Everyone is concerned about nutrition.
We all want to provide our families and ourselves with the best possible foods. I am a registered nurse as well as a mother.....so I, as you, know finding the "right" foods plays an essential role in our overall mental and physical well-being. Our daughter, Natalie, was born with five congenital heart defects. She has survived one open heart surgery, two by-pass surgeries, and a stroke. Due to headaches from the stroke she was prohibited from having foods that contain nitrates or nitrites. With sodium being a cardiac issue it is also carefully watched. The Wild Joe's Beef Jerky marinade does contain sodium but, not as great an amount as in most potato chips, pretzels, and other salty snacks. Her personal favorite is our Hot flavored jerky (we know when she's gotten into it.....she could at least throw the empty bags in the garbage). I know that she is eating a high quality, all natural snack. That is a good feeling. It has only been in recent years that placing nutritional information on a product became mandatory. Fortunately for the customer, we now know exactly what is in the products we buy and consume. If we didn't make something "homemade" we would not know what we were getting.....what was added to the final product. Today's consumer is more aware of what they are buying and putting into their bodies. We are more health conscience as a whole and demand information about the products we purchase. High quality is a must!
I, as I'm sure you do, expect to get what I pay for.....we require nothing less for our customers! Please feel free to review our nutritional information and we invite your questions.
